June 15, 2010 Missionary Service 7:00 PM

WGM Missionaries Bill and Beth Ryan will be back with us at Camp Wesley.
They minister at Escuela El Sembrador, a boarding school for underprivileged Honduran boys, nestled in the Olancho Valley about seven miles east of Catacamas, Honduras. El Sembrador was founded in 1954 by the late Donald and Twana Hawk, former WGM missionaries. The primary purpose of the school has always been to teach the Word of God with love and genuine concern for the boys. Since the first class of 12 students in 1954, El Sembrador’s primary, secondary, vocational, and Bible institute education programs have ministered to more than 8,000 students.
Bill: My main focuses and passions as a missionary are evangelism and discipleship. My dream is to begin a program at El Sembrador’s vocational school, teaching both high- and low-voltage systems to the students. I also desire to use my knowledge as a lineman to maintain the high- and low-voltage electrical systems at El Sembrador.
Beth: I am involved in the discipleship of women by teaching vocational classes that will help them learn skills and help them improve their way of life. My dream is to assist the students in opening beauty salons throughout the area, giving them a place where the gospel can be shared with others. I am teaching English to four, separate grade levels at the high school.
They have the privilege of discipling eighteen young men every Sunday morning, and Wednesday evening. As well as teaching Sunday school at one of the neighboring villages.
